Angela is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Boston University. Here in addition to her studies, she serves as the Graduate Teaching Assistant / Assistant Conductor for the Concert Band and Brass Choir. She is the winds and brass coach for the All-Campus Orchestra, and regularly mentors undergraduate performance majors.
Angela explores music as a community-building tool, and is dedicated to building a community of horn players in the New England area. In 2018 she produced an event called Holiday Horns in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, which will be an annual horn choir day similar to Tuba Christmas. Because of her individual efforts to unify the horn players in her region, she was recently named the International Horn Society Area Representative for both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Angela maintains a Boston-based private teaching studio of students of all ages, and is currently on faculty as the horn instructor with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra Preparatory Winds Ensemble and the Boston Intensive Community Project.
